Nervous System Regulation
What is Nervous System Regulation?
When the nervous system is dysregulated, even small stressors can feel unmanageable. This work builds capacity to tolerate life’s experiences without overwhelm. Through Somatic Experiencing®, grounding, and pacing, clients learn to return to internal safety. This foundation supports all other aspects of healing and growth.

Gina's Approach to Nervous System Regulation
Helping clients manage nervous system dysregulation is a primary focus of Gina's practice. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), she is specifically trained to work with the body's stress responses, helping clients gently build their capacity and find a path back to a state of balance and safety.
Her skills are built on a solid foundation of professional training and experience:
-
Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP): A three-year certification focused entirely on healing trauma and regulating the nervous system.
-
Specialized Training: Her approach is deepened by workshops in Systemic Trauma and Shame, Compassionate Inquiry, and other trauma-informed modalities.
-
Relevant Experience: Gina is skilled in working with clients experiencing substance abuse, anxiety, and relationship violence—all of which are deeply connected to nervous system dysregulation.

Gina uses these somatic tools to help you build a new relationship with your body, one grounded in pacing, choice, and a deeper sense of internal safety.
